Hi, I’m Ferdinand… but my friends call me Ferdie. I’m excited to share that I’ve found my new family with Coast Guard veteran Matt, his wife, and their teenage daughter. Matt served our country for three years and was hoping to find a retriever-type companion to share with his family. At about 2 years old […]
Hi friends, Trike here! I was found as a stray in southern Ohio. I had injuries that led to the removal of one of my legs, but I’ve never let that slow me down. I’ve always been a happy-go-lucky guy who believes every day is a good day. Recently, VCAS and Gigi’s shared my story […]
Hi everyone, it’s me, Milo. I’m a 2-year-old, 42-pound mix with a BIG heart and an even bigger love for cuddles (seriously… I will sit in your lap like I’m a tiny puppy). I came all the way from Gallia County, and thanks to the amazing team at Gigi’s, I got all my medical care, […]
Hi, I’m Lily! I’m a 4-year-old, 64-pound sweetheart who was rescued from Gallia County and brought to Gigi’s, and after a lot of waiting, I finally found my person, Army veteran Tim. Tim served 8 years in the Army as a carpentry and masonry specialist, with deployments to Iraq and Kuwait. Now, we’re starting a […]
Hi everyone, I’m Angel. I’m a 7-year-old, 13.4-pound lady who appears to be a long-haired Dachshund, and after quite the journey from Pike County, I finally found exactly what I was looking for: a family to love. Don served 6 years in the Army, and he and Alethea were hoping to find a small dog […]
Hi, I’m Bailey! I’ve been on a bit of a journey to find where I’m meant to be. I was part of a VCAS placement before coming from Gigi’s, and when my veteran could no longer care for me due to illness, he made sure I would find my way back to a good home. […]
Hi, I’m Bailey! I’m 2 years old, 32 pounds, and apparently, my striking blue eyes made quite an impression… but I think it was my calm personality and good leash manners that really sealed the deal. Now I get to start my next chapter with Julio and Lilly, and I already hear there will be […]
Hi, I’m Tucker! I’m one-year-old and 51 pounds of sweet and cuddly. I just found out I’m moving to five whole acres…which basically sounds like a dream come true for a guy like me. My new best friend is Shane, who served 3 years in the Army as an Infantryman and deployed to Afghanistan. After […]
Hi, I’m Thor… and I think I found my hero. Before I met Charley, my name was Orion, and I was waiting in a shelter for someone to take a chance on me. Around that same time, Charley had been through a very hard year. After serving in the U.S. Army from 1965–1986, including time […]
Hi, I’m Cookie… and I finally found my person. For more than five years, I lived in a puppy mill. When I could no longer make money for them, I was taken to a shelter, and they asked that I be euthanized. However, the shelter reached out for help, and Louie’s Legacy Animal Rescue stepped in to […]
