Hi. I’m Neyo. And this is my human, Carla.

Before I found her, I was surrendered in Springfield and brought to Gigi’s. I’m a tiny Chihuahua (about 8 months to a year old), and let me tell you, being small means one thing: it’s always cold. Brrrr! That’s why I’m a professional blanket-burrower. If there’s a lap or a set of covers nearby, I’m there. Preferably under them. Always.

Carla served in the U.S. Army as a Material Storage and Handling Specialist, and now she’s my safe place. She says I’m her shadow…, but really, I’m just making sure she’s never alone again. I sleep under the covers with her every night, follow her from room to room, and remind her that companionship can be quiet, warm, and constant.

VCAS brought us together, and we both needed that. She gave me a forever home.

I give her unconditional love (and a very warm lap).
