Hi, I’m Lucky! I am a 3-year-old, 26-pound little retriever mix with the happiest heart. I was surrendered in Lawrence County with a litter of pups and brought to Gigi’s, where I finally had the chance to start a new chapter of my life.
That is when I met Jim, a Navy veteran who had served for 15 years, working with submarines, his wife, Terri, and their 8-year-old Aussie, Loki. They were looking for a dog to share relaxed walks and companionship, and I was ready to give all the love I had to offer. I am a wiggly girl who never meets a stranger, and if you forget to pet me, I will gently nudge your hand to remind you.
Now I have the forever family I was waiting for. Thanks to VCAS and Gigi’s, I get to enjoy a life filled with walks, love, and plenty of pets.
