Hi, everyone! It’s me, Gino, and I have some BIG news to share. I’m officially Veteran Companion Animal Services’ 100th placement. This is an incredible milestone for VCAS and all of you who have supported and stood by their mission.

My person is Antonio, an Army veteran who served for 3 years as a parachute rigger. Now I get to spend my days with Antonio, his wife Melissa, and their cat, Henry. I think we’re going to make a pretty great family.

I came to Gigi’s after I was surrendered in Lawrence County with another dog. Now, this 12-pound little mix has officially found his forever home. I love playing with people, showing off my toys, and I’m always up for a good game of tug. But when playtime is over, I’m happiest curled up in your lap getting all the cuddles.

Being placement #100 makes this extra special, but I think the best part is knowing I get to be the next chapter in Antonio’s story.

Here’s to 100 veterans, 100 rescue dogs, and countless more moments of companionship!
