Hi, I’m Esmé. I am a sweet little Jack Russell Terrier mix who weighs 17 pounds and is about 3 to 5 years old. I was found in Lawrence County and brought to Gigi’s, where I got the care I needed after raising a litter of pups. With their help, I was finally ready to begin a new chapter of my life.
That is when I met Michele, an Air Force veteran who was searching for a small dog to love and a companion for daily adventures. We were the perfect match. I love going for walks and then heading home to snuggle, and Michele was looking for exactly that.
Now I have the forever home I dreamed of. Thanks to VCAS and Gigi’s, I am ready to enjoy every adventure and every cuddle with my veteran by my side.
I also want to say a big thank you to my amazing fosters, Cheryl Haywood and Christy, Cliff, and Jayna, for taking such good care of me and helping me get ready for my new life.
