Hi, I’m Blaze, the latest rescue pup to find a home with a veteran!
I am a 60-pound, 18-month-old Rottweiler who was surrendered in Gallia County and then brought to Gigi’s where they assessed me and cared for all of my medical needs.
My new dad is a recently retired Marine who learned about VCAS at the AMVETS Convention in February. He was so ready for a companion he could share with his wife, Danielle, their three daughters, and two cats.
He was looking for a large, affectionate dog, and this is where I come in…not to mention, Danielle, who’s had a Rottweiler in the past, was definitely excited when they found me. I’m already enjoying all of the attention, this is a good life
