Hi, I’m Mirai and I’m finally home! I couldn’t be more excited to have been placed with my dad, Eric Swenson, an American hero, a veteran who served as Security Police while in the Air Force. My dad was looking for a dog to add to his life with his girlfriend, Kana, of 16 years.

My name used to be Wini, I am a 2-3-year-old mixed breed who was picked up as a stray in Gallia county from Gigi’s. I enjoy lots of wiggles – it makes it hard to take pictures of me I love people, it makes me wag my tail, and really, my entire backside.

My name, Mirai, means future in Japanese. I am so excited for my future with my forever family. Here’s to many play dates with neighbors’ dogs, long walks, and weekend trips
